Jandakot Primary School has high expectations for its students and staff.
At Jandakot PS essential early learning begins through targeted and creative programs in our early years. The core prerequisite literacy and numeracy skills are developed through the use of explicit learning and supported with balanced and intentional play-based learning. In the middle and senior years, a combination of explicit instruction and student-centred learning is used to encourage creativity, analytical thinking and problem solving. Our Specialist programs, including science, physical education, music and Italian, ensure that there are programs to suit all students' interests and abilities.
Our students’ development is enhanced by Jandakot's commitment to a strong social education program that includes fulfilling potential, supporting individual resilience and the development of personal character values.
